The Unconference: Making knowledge exchange fun!
From the conference stage onto the dance floor: At the Unconference, exciting presentations full of knowledge were followed by a fun get-together.
A go-live here, a relaunch there – every day, the elements crew puts their best foot forward, gathers valuable experiences, and learns something new. What sometimes comes up short: sharing important insights beyond one's own team. For this reason, elements created the Unconference a few years ago – a knowledge exchange event by and for colleagues. Employees can volunteer to present their learnings and share them with an audience of friends and fellow “elementarians”. What’s more, the event is also the perfect opportunity to get to know each other better.
Back on track: Unconference 2021
On 17 September, it was finally time for another Unconference after a one-year break. The number of presentations and participants showed how popular the event format is among the entire elements crew: There were a total of 20 presentations on exciting projects that have already been successfully implemented or are currently in the works.
After the Unconference is before the afterparty
The desire to party was at least as great as everyone’s hunger for knowledge. True to the motto "Upskill, and let's get it started!", we left the office after the Unconference and went to the afterparty. A live band greeted the party crowd at Salzburg's Eventalm, kicking off an evening in high spirits. There was plenty of good food, lots of laughter, dancing and partying – of course, abiding by a carefully developed Covid safety concept. Once again, elements proved on this day that we are not only a force to be reckoned with in the digital world but also a strong team in real life.
