Minimalist design meets "Product is Hero"


As one of the most renowned companies in the industry, Kästle has been active in the production of innovative winter sports equipment since 1924. It has been instrumental in bringing racing construction technologies to all-mountain skis.

Today, users expect not only a responsive website that can be viewed easily on any device, but also an online presence that can also inspire. The new Kästle website theme is based around the motto "Product is Hero" whilst being paired with a dramatically minimalist design.

An integral part of the new concept is simple, user-oriented navigation and quick access to the products and dealers. The user can decide to browse the product range or be guided to a personal "Perfect Fit" with the help of the clear-cut skier. Dealers in the vicinity can also be viewed directly from any page.

Colour is used only to accent. Black, white and mint green dominate and is used to draw attention to the innovative products. Amazing pictures and a clear, timeless look complete the design and convey the spirit of the brand.

Whilst we reduced the overall design, it was important to maximise and ease navigation. The page performance playing just as important a role, as smooth animations and page transitions.
